Wondering how to change the order of displayed payment methods in PrestaShop 1.7? Log in to your store admin panel and in the Improve section select Design, then Positions. In the top segment, check the box Display non-positionable hooks and in the hook search box, type paymentoptions.
After typing the name of the hook, the system will display the modules available in your PrestaShop 1.7 store hooked up to this hook. We are interested in payment methods. The order is random but constants. You can change it with the arrows or by dragging the tile "manually".
All changes are automatically saved. For confirmation, in the upper right corner each time you will see a notification Update successful.
To verify the correctness of the changes, check the order of payment methods in the PrestaShop 1.7 checkout.
